Caroline Craven, B.Sc., N.E.
president, Farmosa Farms
Caroline has been directly affected
by nutrition for the past six years after she was stricken and diagnosed with
Multiple Sclerosis. With a year of learning how to walk and live again, she
became more aware about nutrition and how it affects her health and her new
life. Caroline has been in executive business for over 15 years. With a focus
in marketing and operations, Caroline watched several companies grow ten fold.
Going public was just part of the daily grind. Work was life and life was
work. Luckily she spent her spare time training horses, kayaking,
river-guiding, running, skiing, hiking, rock-climbing and doing yoga. She also
ate relatively healthy and had just started to learn more about nutrition
through friends and family. So, when the MS hit, through hard work, she was
able to come back strong. But it’s a daily battle to keep her health on track.
It is this direct relationship with
nutrition, along with her studies in Nutrition Education, which gives Caroline
her edge on the disease. Partnering this experience with her Bachelor of
Science degree in Agricultural Business Management from California Polytechnic State
University, San Luis Obispo, Caroline provides a wealth of knowledge and hands
on experience.
