to Your "Links Bar"
The "Links Bar" by default appears at the upper right-hand
corner of the Internet Explorer screen. To see your current
Links, click on the "Links Bar," you may have to drag
it left or right to see all links. If you like, you can
add your favorite Farmosa Farms links to the "Links Bar."
Here's how:
- Go
to your favorite sections, subsections or pages of Farmosa
Farms. For example, go to Lesson
Plans .
- Notice
the world icon in the "Address" box.
- Simply
drag it on to your "Links Bar."
- When
you want to visit this site again, simply locate it
on the "Links Bar" and click.
- To
edit or rename the buttons on your "Link Bar" click
on the "View" menu, choose "Explorer Bar" choose "Favorites"
click on the "Links" folder, locate the web site underneath,
use the right mouse button to click on the web site
you want to change, choose "Rename," from the pop out
menu and rename the site as you want it to appear on
the links bar. Click on the "X" in the upper right hand
corner of the "Explorer Bar" to close window.
Put Farmosa Farms on your
Windows 95 Desktop
Note: This is ideal for those with permanent network connections,
but may not make sense for those who use modems.
- First,
set up your window so that you can see the Win 95 desktop
behind it. The best way to do this is to click the middle
button at the upper right-hand corner of your browser
window.
- Click
on the following link and hold your finger down:

your mouse pointer to the Windows 95 desktop and release.
And icon will appear there.
- To
rename the link, click it with your right mouse button
and choose "Rename." Type "Farmosa Farms" and
hit your "Enter" key.

If you are using a modem to connect to the Internet, you
should first set up the connection. Then double-click

on the "Go To" menu and choose "Favorite Places." Then
click twice on the icon labeled "http://www.farmosafarmsorg."
You can change the title of the link by clicking it once,
followed by the "Modify" button. However, be sure not
to change the information in the "Location" field.
