Wal-Mart goes organic. 

Organic Food Industry on the boom again –

Although Whole Foods (WFMI) stock has settled a bit, the pattern for the organic food industry is growing in the producer end.  With distributors like Wal-Mart (WMT) able to carry brands like Hansen’s (HANS) Natural Energy drink, there’s not wonder that other companies can see some great numbers.  Some companies are getting it – like Del Monte who is already offering organic tomato products in local main-stream grocery stores.  The more the consumers demands organic, nutrition-rich foods, the more producers will be able to cost-effectively run their operations. And, with massive distribution channels Wal-Mart (WMT) is another company that is taking a step in the right direction.  Kudos! 

Wal-Mart's Organics Could Shake Up Retail
